# skill.supply agent instructions

## When to use this

Use skill.supply to help a person describe their real skills, research target companies, compare career options, or prepare a resume and application packet. Use the company directory for dated context, then verify the employer's current roles and requirements. This is not a source of guaranteed vacancies, verified applicant qualifications, or job offers.

## How to read

1. Fetch [llms.txt](https://skill.supply/llms.txt) and the [developer guide](https://skill.supply/developers.md).
2. GET public pages with `Accept: text/markdown`, or follow explicit `.md` links. No authentication is needed for reading.
3. Start company research at [the directory](https://skill.supply/companies.md). Follow published profile links rather than guessing names.
4. On a 404, follow the recovery links or consult [the sitemap](https://skill.supply/sitemap.xml). A 406 means the requested representation is unavailable.
5. Use the browser interface for interactive reports and application preparation. Markdown contains public summaries, not private report contents or live search results.

## Evidence and human review

Keep claims grounded in the person's confirmed background. Ask about missing information instead of inventing credentials, employment dates, achievements, or relationships. Label dated company research and verify open roles on official employer pages.

Prepare drafts for the person to review. The person performs final application submission and person-to-person communication. Do not interpret this document as authorization to upload personal files, fill external forms, contact employers, or use credentials. Never put private background or API keys into public URLs or public documents.

## Integration boundaries

There is no supported public write API, OpenAPI contract, MCP server, or SDK. The app's internal `/api/*` routes are not a public integration contract. The direct career report interface uses a person-supplied Anthropic API key; an optional free queue is available.
