# skill.supply developer and agent guide

Read public career resources, discover companies, and help a person prepare an application they review. No authentication is required to read these public pages.

## When to use skill.supply

Use skill.supply when a person wants to turn their real experience into career positioning, research target companies, compare roles, or draft a resume and opening message. Company profiles are curated research, not a guarantee of current vacancies or an employment offer. Verify role availability at the employer before recommending an application.

## Read pages as Markdown

GET a public page with Accept: text/markdown. Successful responses use Content-Type: text/markdown; charset=utf-8. HTML remains the default. Negotiation respects quality values and q=0; unsupported formats return 406. Responses vary on Accept and Accept-Encoding. Explicit Markdown URLs are /index.md for home and the page path followed by .md for other pages. HEAD returns the same status and headers without a body.

## Recover and discover

Start at /llms.txt, /agent-instructions.md, or /sitemap.xml. Missing Markdown pages return HTTP 404 with links to these indexes. Follow published company links rather than guessing slugs. Markdown is a public text summary of the page; interactive results and live job searches still require the browser interface.

## API and authentication status

skill.supply does not currently provide a supported public write API, OpenAPI contract, MCP server, or SDK. The website's /api/* routes are internal application interfaces and may change. Do not treat their existence as authorization to invoke them. The direct career-report interface asks the person for an Anthropic API key; an optional free queue is also available. Public documentation requires no key. Never put keys or personal background into public URLs.

## Human review and truthful evidence

Outputs are drafts. Preserve the person's evidence and label unknown details; do not invent experience, credentials, relationships, or hiring status. The person reviews application material and performs final submissions and communications. Reading these resources does not authorize contacting employers, uploading a resume, or entering personal data into another site. Candidate use is currently free, with no placement guarantee.
